Here is this vintage Zenith Sporto, dating from circa 1950. An elegant mechanical watch with classic proportions, distinguished by its warm dial and the numerous original details it has retained.

Its 34 mm stainless-steel case houses an attractive cream-champagne dial displaying a beautiful patina. The hours are indicated by a combination of Arabic numerals and applied gold-tone hour markers, the latter retaining their well-preserved original luminous material. Two slender central hands complete the display, while a finely detailed small-seconds subdial is positioned at 6 o’clock. The Zenith logo and “Sporto” signature are positioned at 12 o’clock.

The caseback also retains its clearly visible engravings, further highlighting the attractive overall state of preservation of this example.

The watch is powered by the manually wound Zenith calibre 40, featuring 17 jewels and operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour. It provides a power reserve of approximately 47 hours. The movement will be regulated as closely as possible to achieve the best possible timekeeping performance considering its age.

It is fitted with a new brown leather strap and a generic stainless-steel buckle.

It comes with our 6-month warranty.
