Universal Genève - Compax Ref. 22499 Spillman case

This beautiful and rare vintage Universal Genève Compax is reference 22499 and was produced between 1942 and 1943 according to its serial number. Its 38 mm steel case was made by Spillman and has a beautiful black dial with a beautiful patina. It contains its original radium, while the original hands have been relumed. This hand-wound 3-counter chronograph contains the Universal Genève 285 calibre, which offers a frequency of 18,000 bph and 17 jewels.
