Bulova - Accutron Spaceview 214 Vintage Ref. 7396 - Full Set

In 1952, Max Hetzel, an employee at Bulova Watch Company, presented the "Accutron" project, an abbreviation for "Accuracy" and "Electronic". This electronic watch delivered a level of precision that had never been seen before. The secret behind this precision is a small tuning fork calibrated at 360Hz, which divides each second into hundreds of equal parts.

This watch, with its steel case and integrated bracelet, is the iconic Bulova Accutron 214-7396 from the 1960s. Its white baton-shaped hands and orange second hand allow us to read the time on its famous Bulova 214 movement. The hesalite crystal bears the inscription "Bulova Accutron".
