Onsa - Disco Volante Dress Watch Vintage Circa 1970 Manual Winding
Here is this Onsa Disco Volante Dress Watch, dating from around 1970. A vintage watch with a minimalist design, recognizable by its round case and clean dial.
Its 38 mm stainless-steel case features a particularly flat, circular shape, characteristic of watches nicknamed “Disco Volante” (flying saucer). The silver-toned dial has a circular brushed finish, with four slim black hour markers positioned at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. Two black baton hands complete the display, while the Onsa signature sits below 12 o'clock. The crown is also fitted with a black cabochon.
The watch is powered by the manually wound Peseux calibre 7040, featuring 17 jewels, operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and providing approximately 44 hours of power reserve. Its construction allows the watch to maintain a relatively slim profile on the wrist.
It is fitted with a new orange Saffiano leather strap and a generic stainless-steel pin buckle.
The watch comes with our 6-month warranty.
