Volkswagen Design - Vintage Chronograph Valjoux 7765 with box Circa 1980 Ref. 003

Here is a Volkswagen Design chronograph from the 1980s, reference 003.

Its 41 mm stainless steel case and bracelet feature a black PVD coating, reminiscent of Porsche Design aesthetics. The black dial has a bicompax layout, with a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 12 o’clock. A tachymeter scale is discreetly placed around the outer edge of the dial, under the glass, adding extra functionality to this chronograph.

The central chronograph hand, in a vibrant orange, provides a striking contrast against the dial.

This watch is powered by the Valjoux 7765 caliber, beating at 28,800 A/h, with a 52-hour power reserve and 17 jewels.

The bracelet fits wrists up to 20 cm.
