- Blancpain - Fifthy Fathoms Milspec I vintage
The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Milspec 1 appeared in the USA between 1950 and 1960. It was born between the collaboration of the president of Blancpain and Mr. Allen Tornek (New Worker diamond dealer) to meet the needs of the American Navy. This Milspec 1 model is therefore the first model meeting the criteria of the American Navy.
This Blancpain fifthy Fathoms Milspec 1 has a 41mm polished steel case with its black dial containing its original tritium on its indexes and hands. Its bidirectional bezel was probably replaced during service because it contains superluminova. Its glass is in plexiglass and its crown in polished steel. Its caseback isn't Milspec signed, which means it could have been replaced in the past. The timepiece contains the caliber R.570 which is an AS 1361N base which offers a frequency of 18,000 A/H, a power reserve of 38 hours and contains 17 jewels.
The watch is sold with our box, our certificate and our 6-month warranty.
