- Patek Philippe - 3970 "fourth series" Full Set Perpetual Calendar Chronograph in 18k YG
Third descendant of the heritage of perpetual calendar chronographs - 1518 & 2499 - from Patek Philippe, this reference 3970 has all the attributes of the brand's most important timepieces. This 4th series has an estimated production of 2,000 pieces, all metals combined. Its 36mm case in 18k yellow gold has never been polished. We see the hallmarks very clearly on the outside of the lugs. Its silver dial is in perfect condition. Its hands are perfect with slight traces of tropicalization on its blued hands. It contains the first caliber CH27-70 Q manufactured for these complications by Patek Philippe. This 4th series has a folding clasp with the Calatrava cross in 18 carat yellow gold. The watch is sold by its first owner with its complete set, its solid 18-carat gold case back, its pin and its purchase invoice dating from 2003.
