- Breitling - Top Time Chronograph Vintage Bi-Compax Circa 1965 Ref. 2002-33
Here is a Breitling Top Time Chronograph dating from 1965, reference 2002-33. A true icon of 1960s chronographs, the Top Time was introduced by Willy Breitling to appeal to a younger generation with a modern, clean and sporty design.
Its 36 mm stainless steel case is paired with an elegant silver sunburst dial. The chronograph is highlighted by a striking orange central chronograph hand, while the Bi-Compax layout features a running seconds register at 9 o'clock and a 45-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock. The tachymeter scale around the outer edge further enhances its sporty character.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound movement based on the renowned Venus 188, also known as the Valjoux 7733. This reliable calibre is fitted with 17 jewels, beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers approximately 45 hours of power reserve.
The watch is fitted with a new dark blue Saffiano leather strap and a generic stainless steel pin buckle.
It is sold with our 6-month mechanical warranty.
The movement will be regulated within reasonable tolerances to ensure reliable timekeeping.
