Here is this Buren Grand Prix Calatrava Classic Vintage, dating from circa 1960. An elegant dress watch with classic proportions, particularly well preserved and offering a beautiful presence on the wrist thanks to its 35 mm case.

Its chrome-plated steel case houses a beautiful white dial with subtly warm tones, complemented by applied gold-tone hour markers and Arabic numerals at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock. Two elegant gold-tone dauphine hands display the hours and minutes, while a small seconds register is positioned at 6 o’clock. The applied Buren logo sits at 12 o’clock, with the “Grand Prix” inscription positioned at the centre of the dial. The watch also retains its original crown featuring the brand’s logo.

It is powered by the Buren calibre 381, a hand-wound mechanical movement featuring 17 jewels, operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour and providing approximately 41 hours of power reserve.

The watch is presented in very well-preserved condition. It is fitted with a new brown leather strap and a generic stainless-steel buckle.
