- Chopard - Retailed by Graff Two Time Zone 18k Yellow Gold Quartz Circa 1990 Ref. 2240
Here is this Chopard Two Time Zone, reference 2240, dating from circa 1990 and featuring the signature of renowned jeweller Graff on its dial. An elegant 18k yellow gold travel watch, particularly distinctive for its dual-time architecture.
Its slightly curved rectangular case is crafted from 18k yellow gold and houses a white dial divided into two independent time displays. The upper section is labelled “Local Time”, while the lower section displays “Home Time”, allowing two different time zones to be followed simultaneously. Each display features its own applied gold-tone baton indexes and two central hands, with the “GRAFF” signature positioned between them.
Two L.U.C.-stamped crowns on the side of the case allow each time display to be set independently. The perfectly symmetrical arrangement of the two dials gives the watch a highly distinctive identity while retaining an elegant and balanced appearance.
The watch is powered by two independent quartz movements, each dedicated to one of the two time displays.
It is fitted with a beige leather strap and a Chopard-signed gold-plated tang buckle.
An unusual piece combining Chopard watchmaking with the Graff signature, presented in a particularly elegant dual-time configuration.
It comes with our 6-month warranty.
