Zenith - Classic Vintage 18k Yellow Gold Bumper Cal. 133.8 Circa 1955

Here is an elegant Zenith automatic wristwatch dating from the mid-1950s.

Its 35.5 mm case is crafted from 18k yellow gold and features the timeless proportions typical of dress watches from the period. It is paired with a clean white dial fitted with applied gold hour markers and matching gold hands. Several of the applied markers still retain their original luminous inserts (some are missing), as do the hands, adding to the watch's authentic vintage character. The applied Zenith star and signature at 12 o'clock complete the clean and elegant design.

Please note that there is a small mark on the dial between the centre and the 9 o'clock marker, visible in the photographs.

The watch retains its original signed Zenith crown and is powered by the Zenith Calibre 133.8 automatic bumper movement. This historic movement uses a bumper winding system, with the oscillating weight moving between spring-loaded stops rather than rotating freely through 360 degrees. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, features 20 jewels and offers approximately 35 hours of power reserve.

The watch is fitted with a new alligator-pattern leather strap and a gold-plated pin buckle.

The movement will be regulated within reasonable tolerances to ensure reliable timekeeping.
