Breguet - Héritage Tonneau 18k Yellow Gold Vintage Circa 1990 Ref. 3490

Here is this superb Breguet Héritage Tonneau, reference 3490, dating from around 1990. This elegant 18-carat yellow-gold piece features a particularly distinctive architecture from the manufacture, combining a classically shaped tonneau case with a beautifully guilloché dial.

Its 29 mm tonneau-shaped case is crafted from 18-carat yellow gold and features the distinctive “coin-shaped” profile, particularly visible from the sides and giving the case its characteristic slightly inclined architecture. The fluted crown is topped with a cabochon, completing the refined overall design.

The dial features large black Roman numerals around its perimeter together with two central guilloché areas. The main section displays the blued Breguet hands for the hours and minutes, while a second counter at 6 o'clock is dedicated to the small seconds. The contrasting guilloché finishes and beaded minute tracks add considerable depth and refinement to the dial, in the purest Breguet tradition.

It is powered by the manually wound Breguet calibre 818/5.

The watch is fitted with a brown leather strap with white stitching and a generic buckle. It is also accompanied by its original signed Breguet buckle crafted from 18-carat yellow gold.

The movement will be regulated as closely as possible to ensure good timekeeping performance.
