Here is a vintage Breitling "Long Playing" chronograph, reference 815, dating from around 1970.
Its 38mm steel case houses a superb sunburst gray dial with three sunburst black subdials, creating the "Panda" combination. The original hands and baton hour markers with their luminous material are in very good condition.
This watch is powered by the Valjoux 7730 caliber hand-wound movement, a robust and precise 17-jewel movement beating at 18,000 A/h, offering approximately 45 hours of power reserve.
The name "Long Playing" refers to the extended power reserve of the Valjoux 7730 movement, which exceeded the average for chronographs of its era. Inspired by the world of music, it evokes "Long Play" (LP) vinyl records, synonymous with performance and longevity.
It is fitted with a new brown leather strap and comes with our 6-month warranty.
