Intended for military personnel, these watches became the iconic mid-century "Field Watches" that have inspired countless watch designs since. In the mid-1980s, after the military contract expired, Hamilton began producing its military field watch for civilians, and the Hamilton Khaki Field was born. This Hamilton Khaki Field has a 33mm steel case with the collection's iconic dial. The first series of Hamilton Khaki Field bears the Khaki inscription at six o'clock and the brand logo at twelve o'clock. Its sword-shaped hands and second hand are powered by the Hamilton calibre 849. This 17-jewel calibre is a mechanical movement. The watch comes with a leather strap and steel buckle.
