Rolex - Explorer I Swiss T < 25 Circa 1978 Ref. 1016

Here is a Rolex Explorer I, reference 1016, dating from 1978. Its 36mm stainless steel case is in good condition and houses a beautiful matte black dial with a slight patina. The indexes and hands, covered in original tritium, are also in perfect condition for a watch of this age.

This Explorer is equipped with the automatic caliber 1570. This caliber runs at a frequency of 19,800 A/h, has 26 jewels, and offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.

The Oyster steel bracelet is in very good condition, with no stretch, and fits a wrist of up to 18 cm.
