Rolex - Submariner Réf. 1680/0 from 1979 with box and service warranty

This vintage Rolex Submariner is reference 1680, which is reputed to be the first diver from the brand to have the date. This very fine example dates from around 1979 and comes directly from its first owner. It features a matt black dial in excellent condition. Its hour-markers and hands contain their original tritium. Its Oyster steel case measures 40 mm in diameter and contains the Rolex caliber 1575. It has a frequency of 19,800 vph, a power reserve of 48 hours and contains 26 jewels.
