Rolex - Submariner ref. 5508 from 1959

This iconic Rolex is the first submariner reference 5508, which was produced between 1958 and 1962. The present example is from 1959. It has the particularity of having a small crown and the 100m indication at 6 o'clock. Its dial, hands and bezel were changed during a Rolex service in the 80s. Its 37mm Oyster case in steel contains the Rolex caliber 1530 which has been serviced. Its riveted steel bracelet is in good condition and dates from 1961.
