Here is a Universal Genève Polerouter Date Vintage Circa 1960, reference 204610-7.
Its elegant 33.5 mm stainless steel case showcases the timeless design that made the Polerouter one of Universal Genève’s most iconic creations. Originally designed by Gérald Genta, this version features a date window at 3 o’clock and attractive dauphine hands that perfectly complement its refined vintage aesthetic.
The silver sunburst dial displays beautiful light reflections and is framed by the distinctive sector-style chapter ring characteristic of the Polerouter collection. The dial shows several oxidation spots across its surface, adding to its authentic vintage character. The watch retains its original signed Universal Genève acrylic crystal as well as its original crown.
Powering the watch is the renowned Universal Genève Calibre 218-2 Microtor automatic movement. Equipped with 28 jewels, it operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour and delivers approximately 57 hours of power reserve. Thanks to its integrated micro-rotor architecture, this movement remains one of the most innovative achievements of Swiss watchmaking during the 1960s.
The watch is fitted with its original Gay Frères stainless steel bracelet. Thanks to its expandable construction, it can comfortably fit wrists up to approximately 17 cm while providing additional flexibility and comfort.
It is accompanied by our 6-month warranty.
