Its 30 mm chrome-plated steel case features proportions typical of military watches of the period, with a robust and compact construction. The hesalite crystal sits above a black dial with Arabic numerals, offering excellent legibility—an essential feature for a military watch. Luminous material is also present on both the indexes and the hands. Beneath the brand’s logo is a “W” topped with a crown, reflecting its strong historical significance. These watches were produced following a royal warrant granted to Universal Genève by Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands, in order to equip the Dutch army.
