- Ernest Borel - Cocktail Mystery Kaleidoscope Dial Vintage Circa 1960
Here is an Ernest Borel Cocktail Mystery dating from the 1960s, an iconic model renowned for its unique and mesmerizing time display.
Its gold-plated case is paired with the famous "Mystery Kaleidoscope" dial, whose rotating central discs create a fascinating kaleidoscopic optical effect. Despite the constant motion, the time remains easy to read thanks to the two red arrow markers indicating the hours and minutes. This patented Ernest Borel concept became one of the brand's signatures and remains one of the most distinctive optical displays found on vintage wristwatches.
The watch features a transparent case back, allowing the manual-winding FHF 67 movement to be admired. This calibre operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour and is fitted with 17 jewels.
It is fitted with a new burgundy leather strap and a gold-plated pin buckle.
The watch is sold with our 6-month mechanical warranty.
The movement will be regulated within reasonable tolerances to ensure reliable timekeeping.
