- Eterna - Vintage Eternamatic Circa 1960 Cal. 14120
Here is this Eterna Eterna-Matic, dating from around 1960. An elegant Swiss automatic watch with a particularly clean design, representative of Eterna’s watchmaking expertise during this period.
Its 35 mm stainless-steel case is notably distinguished by its discreet crown, almost entirely concealed within the profile of the case. This unusual construction preserves the watch’s beautifully fluid lines and creates a particularly balanced appearance on the wrist.
Its silver-toned dial features a clean and harmonious configuration, with slender applied baton hour markers, two elegant dauphine hands and a striking red central seconds hand providing a particularly attractive touch of colour. At 12 o’clock sits Eterna’s famous five-ball logo, which became one of the manufacture’s defining symbols and refers to its rotor system mounted on five ball bearings.
It is powered by the Eterna calibre 1412U automatic movement, a manufacture-developed mechanism closely associated with the history of the Eterna-Matic family. The movement will be regulated as closely as possible to achieve the best possible timekeeping performance considering its age.
The watch is fitted with a brown leather strap and a generic stainless-steel buckle.
It comes with our 6-month warranty.
