Here is this Seiko Shinkansen Nozomi 1st Anniversary N700S Bullet Train Commemorative Limited Edition, reference 8T63-00X0, a limited edition of only 5,000 pieces released around 2021 to celebrate the first anniversary of Japan's iconic N700S Shinkansen bullet train. Its 41 mm stainless steel case houses a beautiful white-to-grey gradient dial whose design is directly inspired by the streamlined front of the train. The two luminous markers on either side of the small seconds sub-dial represent the train's headlights, while the hour marker at one o'clock has been replaced by an elegant numeral "1" to commemorate the anniversary. The watch also features a date window between 4 and 5 o'clock, luminous steel hands, a 24-hour indicator at 3 o'clock, a 60-minute chronograph counter at 9 o'clock, and a small seconds display at 6 o'clock.

It is powered by the Seiko 8T63 quartz movement. This calibre features a chronograph with a smoothly sweeping central chronograph seconds hand, offering an experience much closer to that of a mechanical chronograph than the typical one-second ticking motion associated with most quartz watches.

The watch is in like-new condition and comes fitted with its original stainless steel bracelet, suitable for wrists up to approximately 19.5 cm.
