Wittnauer - Super Compressor Vintage Diver with box Circa 1960 Ref. 8007

Here is a Wittnauer Super Compressor Vintage Diver, reference 8007, dating from the 1960s.

Its 36 mm stainless steel compressor case houses a beautiful matte black dial, featuring original tritium luminous indexes and hands that have acquired an attractive patina over time. The Wittnauer logo is displayed at 12 o’clock, along with a date window at 3 o’clock. The internal bidirectional rotating bezel is operated via the second crown. Both crowns are original, retaining their shape and clearly showing the Wittnauer logo. We can see a little appearance of rust on the glass at nine o'clock which doesn't interfere with the overall watch and can be replaced.

This collector’s diver is powered by the Wittnauer caliber C11KAS, based on the Longines 501, with 17 jewels. It beats at a frequency of 19,800 A/h and provides a 44-hour power reserve.

It is fitted on its original JB Champion stainless steel bracelet, which shows minor stretch but remains in very good overall condition, fitting wrists up to 18 cm.
