White Star - Racing Chronograph TV-Shape Vintage Cal. Valjoux 7750 Circa 1970
Here is this White Star Racing Chronograph, dating from around 1970. It features a large 42 mm stainless-steel case with a typical 1970s “TV-Shape” design, defined by its square profile and rounded corners.
The black dial has a strong 1970s look, with contrasting white, red and orange details. The three chronograph subdials are positioned at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock, while a double day and date window sits at 3 o’clock. The hour and minute hands feature luminous inserts and are accompanied by a bright orange central chronograph seconds hand. A tachymeter scale runs around the dial and completes its racing-inspired design.
The watch is powered by the automatic Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement, featuring 25 jewels, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and providing approximately 48 hours of power reserve.
It is fitted with a blue crocodile leather strap. Due to regulations concerning this material, the strap cannot be shipped outside Switzerland. For international delivery, please contact us so that we can arrange an alternative.
The watch comes with our 6-month warranty.
